The journal disseminates knowledge on anti-discrimination and equality law, analysing the theoretical understanding of various legal concepts used in this discipline of law, as well as addressing methodological approaches used in the decisions of legislators or courts. The journal provides a space for improving key ideas in this continuously emerging and developing area of law.
The journal is targeted at academics and practitioners – judges, prosecutors, lawyers, civil society activists, policy makers and public officials (including members of equality bodies and the institution of the ombudsman).
It is an academic, independent and impartial journal. It does not promote any specific ideology or interests of any institutions, either public or private. It mainly considers existing legal regulations, proposed acts and constitutional changes, as well as judgments. It also publishes research in the field of social sciences (e.g. political science, international relations, anthropology and sociology), if they are of an interdisciplinary nature and are closely related to existing or planned legal regulations or judgments.
The journal is published in electronic form. The articles are published as open access materials under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence. The editorial office declares that royalties are not paid to authors for the publication of articles in ‘Przegląd Prawa Antydyskryminacyjnego’.
