Agnieszka Bień-Kacała is a researcher conducting comparative research on liberal and illiberal constitutionalism and manager of the Gender and Constitution in Poland research team at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin. Her research has resulted in participation in numerous national (including NCN) and international (including V4) projects. She is the author of almost 200 academic publications, including several monographs. She actively participates in national and international academic organizations, including the International Society of Public Law (I-CON S), the European Law Institute, the Polish Society of Constitutional Law, Amicus Facultatis Iuris Stetinensis (AFIS) and the Scientific Society in Toruń. In the International Association of Constitutional Law, she participates in research within the following research groups: (1) Constitutionalism in Illiberal Democracies, (2) Gender and Constitution and (3) Research Group on Public Law Responses to Public Health Emergencies. She is also a member of the International Research Team on the Law of Assemblies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
