Doctor habilitated of law and doctor of sociology; winner of the first price in the 50th ‘Państwo i Prawo’ competition for the best doctoral thesis in the field of law; she received a scholarship from the Foundation for Polish Science for outstanding young scholars, as well as the Ronald and Eileen Weiser Professional Development Award at the University of Michigan in the USA; she specializes in the sociology of law and conducts empirical research; author of the monograph entitled Władza, symbol, prawo. Społeczne tworzenie Trybunału Konstytucyjnego (2015) and Prawo-mocność. Teoria społeczna Pierre’a Bourdieu a przestrzenie prawa (2024), as well as several dozen academic articles in the field of law and sociology; she gained academic experience during her research internships at universities in the USA (Brown University), France (l’EHESS, L’École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay, Univeristé de Strasbourg), Germany (Universität Bonn) and Norway (Universitetet i Oslo).
