TeamMate Analytics has been designed from the ground up to be a tool for every auditor on an audit team, regardless of their IT skill level. With no coding required to run TeamMate Analytics, auditors can spend more time doing what they were hired to do - audit. A built-in test library and guided UI for creating custom tests allow auditors to quickly run the test that they want to. Unlike many analytic tools available, TeamMate Analytics was design specifically for auditors and uses familiar audit-friendly terminology.
Most importantly, TeamMate Analytics is based in Microsoft Excel. As the world's most common analytics tool, Excel is used by almost every student and professional which makes learning TeamMate Analytics second-nature. TeamMate Analytics is a fully fledged, incredibly powerful Data Analytics package with all the audit analytics capabilities found in expensive difficult to use software packages.
Computer operating system and TeamMate Analytics
TeamMate Analytics only runs with MS Excel on PC-based operating systems. If your students have Mac computers, you have two options: 1) your students can run Windows emulation software on their Mac, or 2) you will need to have TeamMate Analytics installed in a PC computer lab that your students can use. TeamMate Analytics will run only on supported versions of Microsoft Excel – currently Excel 2010 and newer. TeamMate Analytics supports both 32- and 64-bit versions of MS Windows and MS Office.
Accessing TeamMate+ software
Our preferred approach to making TeamMate Analytics available to your students is to have it installed on your school’s computers. We can then provide a site license for the software, simplifying the management of license keys, etc.
If necessary, and if your students have PC computers, they can download a Trial version of TeamMate Analytics software from this location: click here. We will then need to work with you to provide software license details for your students.
To participate in the TeamMate Analytics in the Classroom program, please reach out to Ken Petersen at 440-796-3241, and provide the following information: 1) Instructor name, institution phone number, and institution email address, 2) Name of educational institution, and 3) the name of your course, when the course session starts, and the number of students likely to be in the session. We will then get back to you to discuss your options for making the software available to you and your students.
TeamMate+ and the textbook
We have prepared both Instructor and Student materials for the following list of exercises, chapters and cases in the textbook.
