These fundamentals are lived each week in firmwide discussions led by employees across every level, turning values into habits and habits into culture.

A Legacy of Leadership. A Century of Progress.

The CCH William Awards are named in honor of William KixMiller, founder of CCH and a pioneer in tax law whose bold ideas helped shape the profession. His commitment to clarity, accessibility, and innovation set a new standard for how professionals engaged with complex information—transforming how tax and regulatory guidance was delivered and understood.

More than a century later, that same spirit continues to define the CCH brand. What began as a breakthrough in professional publishing has evolved into a platform of intelligent, AI-powered solutions designed to help today’s firms navigate complexity, unlock insight, and serve their clients with confidence. The CCH William Awards celebrate this legacy of progress by honoring professionals who are driving the profession forward—through innovation, leadership, community impact, and a people-first approach to culture and talent.
