  • When and where is TeamMate Live 2021?

  • How many people are expected to attend TeamMate Live?
    We expect hundreds of attendees between the in-person and virtual experience options. In-person attendees will be limited based on the current health and safety guidelines of the venue.  The attendees represent corporations, associations, government organizations and other businesses of all sizes.
  • I am a prospective customer and want to know if I can attend the event without having purchased TeamMate?
    The information presented at the event is intended for TeamMate users. If you have questions about whether you are eligible to attend, please send an email to [email protected].
  • I have question about TeamMate. What can I do to ensure that it is answered during the event?
    For immediate answers to all questions, please send an email to TeamMate Support, or call the product support line for your region. There will also be many TeamMate product experts onsite at the event, who will be happy to assist you. As always, you are welcome to email your TeamMate representative with any questions you have whether it's before, during or after the conference.
  • Suppose I see a product or service that I would like to implement immediately. Can I make arrangements at TeamMate Live for such a purchase?
    Certainly. The event is all about our customers and their needs. If our customers want to acquire a solution they saw at the conference, it will be available to them immediately.
  • Will I have an opportunity to follow-up with people I heard speak at TeamMate Live and discuss specific products, trends, and news with them?
    Yes. There will be many opportunities to connect with our keynote speakers and professionals who can answer all your questions during the event or after you return home.
  • What is the TeamMate Live cancellation policy?

    TeamMate Live In-Person Conference

    Any cancellation requests received before August 1, 2021 will receive a full refund or credit towards the TeamMate Live Virtual Conference. Cancellation requests must be received in writing to [email protected] No refunds will be given after August 1, 2021.

    There will be no penalty to transfer in-person conference registration to another individual within your company.  However, the request for the substitution should be received in writing to [email protected] no later than September 17, 2021.

    If you are currently sick, have been sick with the 14 days prior to the event, or have tested positive for COVID during that time, we ask that you please stay home, and our team can assist you with virtual access.  

    No-shows for the in-person conference will not receive a refund or credit.

    In the unlikely event of program cancellation or government-mandated travel ban, 100% of registration fees will be refunded or credited to a future event if requested. Registrants will be responsible for their own travel and hotel cancellations. Wolters Kluwer Financial Services assumes no liability for any penalty fees on airline tickets, hotel deposits or any other fees, charges, penalties or other incidental costs that a registrant might incur as a consequence of program cancellation.

     
    TeamMate Virtual Conference

    Any cancellation requests received before September 15, 2021 may receive a full refund. Cancellation requests must be received in writing to [email protected]. After this date, registration is non-refundable as content can be viewed at any point on-demand up to 30 days after the event.

    There will be no penalty to transfer virtual conference registration to another individual within your company. However, the request for the substitution should be received in writing to [email protected] no later than September 17, 2021.

    Please note that the hotel may have a different cancellation policy which should be communicated to you when you make your reservation.
  • At this conference, will TeamMate discuss the latest software enhancements and products they are developing?
    Yes. We are looking forward to sharing the latest information on TeamMate as well as other products and services that benefit audit professionals.

 

Virtual FAQs

  • When is the virtual conference?
    Monday, September 20, 2021 – Wednesday, September 22, 2021
  • What is the cost of the virtual conference?
    The cost is $795 for a virtual registration this includes access to the live virtual event and on-demand access.
  • Has the schedule for the conference changed for the virtual experience?
    Yes, the conference schedule has been adjusted to fit a virtual environment. We have condensed the content into 2 and ½ half days to allow for more flexibility and accommodate as many time zones as possible. Registration for the virtual conference will also include on-demand access to additional self-study sessions.
  • If my company has a corporate firewall in place will I still be able to participate?
    In most cases firewalls will not pose an issue. You should be able to participate in the entire event even if your company has a firewall in place. If you are worried about your company firewall you can run a system to see any potential issues. Click here to run a system check.
  • What if I already registered for the Los Angeles in-person event? How will my registration be handled?
    A TeamMate team member will be reaching out to each individual registered for the in-person event to share transfer options. If you have not received a communication from a TeamMate team member yet please contact us at [email protected].
  • What if I already made a hotel reservation for the in-person event?
    If you have reserved a room through the conference hotel block, the LA Live Hotel in Los Angeles has canceled your reservation. No action is required on your part. A receipt of cancellation will be emailed to the email address on file with the hotel. If your hotel cancellation email has not come through yet, please contact us at [email protected].
  • Will CPE credits be available at the virtual conference?
    Yes, attendees can earn up to 10+ CPE credits by attending the live sessions and earn an additional CPE credits by taking the on-demand self-study sessions.
  • Which courses can I earn CPEs in during the Live Event?
    Attendees can earn CPEs from all general and elective sessions offered during TeamMate Live.
  • Will any session content be presented in Spanish, Portuguese, or a language other than English? 
    No. All TeamMate Live sessions are created and presented in English.
  • Will I need to download software to fully use the platform?
    No. The only tool you need to run the platform is an internet browser.
  • Networking is one of the best parts of TeamMate Live. How will networking opportunities be incorporated into the virtual conference?

In-person FAQs

  • How much does it cost to attend the TeamMate Live 2021?
    Standard Registration Fee: $1,595
    Guest Fee: $395
    Pre-Conference Workshop Fee: $395
    Guest Fee includes access to evening events only. All guests must be 21 years of age or older - one guest per attendee – no children are allowed.
    No volume discounts will be provided this year due to limited space and availability.
  • What does a standard registration fee include?
    The attendee registration fee includes all in-person general sessions, registered elective sessions, roundtable and panel discussions, access to the alliance showcase, meals, and entertainment, and transportation to and from TeamMate Live events. New this year, the fee also includes on-demand access to the content after the event and additional on-demand content.
    The fee does not include hotel accommodations or transportation to and from the resort.
    Guests (i.e. friends or family members) are invited to join you for evening dinners and events, however, the general sessions, elective sessions, breakfast and lunchtime meals are intended for attendees only. Guests are limited to one per paid attendee and must be at least 21 years of age. The guest fee is $395. Children are not permitted at any TeamMate Live events.
  • What does a Pre-Conference Workshop fee include?
    We are offering Migration workshops pre-conference for TeamMate AM customers focused on migration to TeamMate+. The $395 fee includes attendance to the workshop and attendees can earn 3 CPE credits. This fee does not include meals. Attendees will be responsible for their own breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • What does a Guest Fee include? What is the guest policy?
    Guests (i.e. friends or family members) are invited to join you for evening dinners and events, however, the general sessions, elective sessions, breakfast and lunchtime meals are intended for attendees only.   • Can I send one user per day?  Can I attend one day for a discounted price?
    No. Attendees are expected to attend the full progression of classes and sessions.
  • Is CPE available for attendees at TeamMate Live?
    Yes, all Forum attendees will be able to earn CPE credits. Each attendee can earn up to 10 CPE credits for attending the in-person event and additional CPE credits can be earned on demand.
  • Do I get CPE for every session?
    All live sessions offer CPE, but there may be a small number that do not for the on-demand content. The sessions that are CPE eligible will clearly state that at the beginning of the presentation. Attendees may receive up to 10+ CPE credits if all sessions are attended, plus additional credits can be earned with self-study on-demand courses.
  • Why was TeamMate Live transitioned from Los Angeles to Tampa?
    As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, our primary focus and priority are the health and safety of our Wolters Kluwer colleagues, customers, and partners. Due to continuing concerns around the health and safety of large groups, in the Los Angeles area, we made the decision to transition our event to Tampa, Florida and limit capacity. We will also be offering the event virtually for those who are not able to attend in-person.
  • What if I already registered for the Los Angeles in-person event? How will my registration be handled?
    A TeamMate team member will be reaching out to each individual registered for the in-person event to share transfer options. If you have not received a communication from a TeamMate team member yet please contact us at [email protected].
  • What if I already made a hotel reservation for the in-person event?

  • What should I bring to this event?
    We recommend you pack for a casual business trip. Remember that conference rooms are air conditioned and you may wish to bring a light sweater or jacket. If you plan to use hotel facilities, please plan accordingly (golf clubs, swimsuit, etc.). Don’t forget to bring your face mask(s). All attendees and staff will be required to wear a mask in classrooms and in public areas.
  • What types of safety measures will you be taking to ensure attendee safety?
    Your safety is our first priority. We are taking many precautions to ensure your safety as we return to an in-person event.

    Limited Capacity & Social Distancing –The TeamMate Live in-person experience will be limited to reduce to the risk of virus spread and to safely achieve social distancing. Each session, social event, common area will also be strictly limited to ensure recommend distances between attendees can be met and maintained.

    Masks- All attendees and staff will be required to wear a mask in classrooms and in public areas. WHO and CDC studies agree masks help prevent the spread of infection.

    Disinfectant stations – Hand washing and sanitizer areas will be ample, easily accessible, and encouraged for all attendees.

    Routine Cleaning & Disinfection – We have built longer breaks into the conference schedule to allow for through cleaning in every space before reconvening.

    Hotel Safety Measures – The JW Marriott ensures guests are protected with extensive protocols for cleaning, distancing, and food services. Learn more about their policies here.
  • Besides hearing about TeamMate products and practitioner advice at the conference, will there be any opportunities for networking?
    Yes. We recognize that some of the most valuable information can come from peers. For that reason, we have designed safe networking events and lunches, which allows you time to meet with others in your field, share information, and develop industry connections all while keeping safe distances.
