What our customers are saying

  • Simple to set up and easy to use
  • Providing quality care with EHR integrations
Lexicomp linking was simple to set up, and the support was great. We had several direct contacts [at Wolters Kluwer] we could email or call, and the response was quick. Having links to Lexicomp integrated in our EHR system has made reaching valuable drug content easy.
Amy Schuler
Both Lexicomp and UpToDate are integrated into our EMR informatics build, and they complement one another in providing reliable and comprehensive therapeutic clinical decision support (CDS) and drug-specific information. These [solutions] are core components of our systematic approach to providing effective pharmacotherapeutic care to our community.
Mark Jordan, PharmD

Our EHR integrations provide a range of features to improve the drug information process, including:

  • Lexicomp Embedded Search Link: Clinicians can easily access clinical content from within their daily workflow, without having to navigate away from their EHR system. Medication Literature Linking: Key clinical information about medications is integrated into EHR systems, allowing providers to access it directly from the Medication Administration Record (MAR) or order entry screens.
  • Black Box Warning Linking: Critical drug information warnings published by the FDA are integrated into Lexicomp EHR integrations, allowing providers to quickly access this information from the Lexicomp monograph in both Order Entry and MAR.
  • Active Guidelines/AGL HL7 Infobutton: Active Guidelines (AGL) uses HL7 Infobutton links to connect users directly to drug reference information relevant to their patients, based on chart elements like medications and orders. Links appear in the Problem List, Health Maintenance, Order Entry, Medication, and Chief Complaint and additional screens.
