ELM Solutions offers a range of deployment models for our software. This gives each client the flexibility to select the deployment option that best suits their company’s IT preferences and/or data security requirements.

  • On-premise – With an on-premise deployment, your software is installed behind your company’s firewall on its network. This model may be right for companies whose IT departments require or prefer that their own internal IT resources administer and maintain complete control over the enterprise legal management application and its hardware.
  • Dedicated hosted – With a dedicated hosted deployment, your software – which includes an application and a database exclusively for your company – is installed in a secure cloud environment. This environment is managed by ELM Solutions and includes all of the necessary hardware. This model may be right for companies whose IT departments require or prefer a solution with a dedicated application and database but also desire reduced IT costs and worry-free IT maintenance.   • Software as a Service (SaaS) – With a SaaS deployment, your software is part of a secure hosted cloud environment that is managed by ELM Solutions. Hosting, including all of the required hardware and IT maintenance, is included as a feature of the solution. This model may be right for companies that are looking for a secure, turnkey enterprise legal management solution that offers ease of implementation, maintenance, and upgrades, plus a lower total cost of ownership (TCO). The table below illustrates the ELM Solutions product offerings that are available via each deployment model. Our clients have the flexibility to leverage a mix of our on-premise, dedicated hosted, and SaaS offerings as they build their ELM ecosystem. For example, Passport® clients can also leverage our LegalVIEW® legal analytics offerings, or a TyMetrix® 360° client may also leverage Passport. This enables each client to customize an ELM technology solution to meet its specific needs.
