Do you currently have—or have you ever had—a mentor? Mentoring is described as a valued relationship and a nurturing process in which a more experienced person supports the professional growth and career development of another. Despite one of the nursing professional development (NPD) roles being that of a leader, we are not exempt from the importance and value of having a mentor. This session explores the significance of mentorship and how one organization developed a program for new NPD practitioners.
