From the opening screen, enter a drug name (brand or generic) or NDC in the search box and click the "Search" button. To assist with searching, a possible keyword list will appear after you enter at least four (4) characters. To select a suggested term, click on the desired search term and the system will perform a search and display the results. Additionally, if you misspell a search term, you will be presented with a "Did you mean…" list of possible search terms. To perform a new search using the correct term, click on the desired search term and you will see a results list for the correctly spelled keyword.

Once you have selected your search term, clicking the "Search" button or hitting the enter key on the keyboard will initiate a search across all available databases. If the search logic can map the search term to an available monograph, the monograph page will display. When the NDC is used for the search, the search results will either display the related monographs, or take the user directly to the product list where the specific product will be displayed.

Search Results Display

After performing a search, you will be presented with the results from all available content sets that have a match to the search performed. If there are more than 5 results returned per content set, the top matches based on user activity will be displayed first. Additional search results can be displayed by clicking on the "more" link. To view the monograph within any content set, click on the hyperlinked drug name displayed.
