Wolters Kluwer celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month: Rajesh Chheda

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and the 2022 theme is Advancing Leaders Through Collaboration. Wolters Kluwer spotlighted the careers and stories of several of our Asian and Pacific Islander leaders whose contributions have inspired our growth story and culture of innovation.

Rajesh Chheda, Director of Product Software Engineering for Wolters Kluwer’s */dxg Health Development group, leads teams that build technology solutions for medical professionals leveraging highly rated Health content produced by Wolters Kluwer. Rajesh finds helping Medical Professionals and their patients achieve better outcomes both noble and inspiring.

Rajesh believes that technology will continue to improve the human experience for the foreseeable future. He appreciates collaborating cross functionally with business, product, marketing and content teams to deliver technology driven products that contribute towards this goal on a continuous basis.

Rajesh says “there has never been a time in history when humanity had so much comfort, connectivity, communication and commerce. Information technology has fueled this renaissance.” Rajesh advises junior colleagues “to be a forever student. There are plenty of contemporary success stories to learn from; choose the best patterns you can implement and always remember that Knowledge > Ignorance and Action > Inaction.”
Rajesh is proud of his Indian heritage and considers former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam a role model. He also points out that food and festivals are excellent connectors between cultures. Pre-covid, the Philadelphia and New York offices celebrated Diwali. Rajesh embraces people of all cultures and tries to learn a few words from the different languages of the people he meets.
