Henri Van Engelen is EVP & Managing Director Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Europe, a leading global provider of information, software and integrated workflow solutions for tax, accounting and audit professionals.

Henri Van Engelen joined Wolters Kluwer in September 2006. As Chief Executive Officer of Wolters Kluwer Belgium, he has driven the company’s transformation from a traditional publisher to an integrated information services company, through strategic actions and acquisitions with the aim to provide professionals with information, tools and solutions that help them in making the most critical decisions. From September 2012 onwards he has fully focused on further developing the European Tax & Accounting activities as Managing Director Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Europe.

Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, during his 9-year career at Atos Origin, Henri served as Managing Director of Belgium & Luxembourg and as Senior Vice President and member of the Corporate Systems Integration Board. Prior to Atos Origin, he held several executive positions at IBM for a period of 15 years. Henri holds a degree in Civil Engineering in Construction at the University of Brussels.

In 2017 and 2018 Henri acted as Chairman of a domestic IT Services company Realdolmen that was successfully delisted from the stock exchange and sold to a French IT group expanding in Europe.
