The CX/UX Research team partners with product teams to gather insights about their users and their work to inform design and product decisions.  In addition, the team sets standards for User Research across Wolters Kluwer.  

Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer in February of 2020, Elana was a Senior UX Manager at MathWorks, leading a team of over 30 UX practitioners in all aspects of User-Centered Research and Design for Simulink. Elana has a proven track record of researching users in complex domains to determine their pain, identify unmet needs, and explore what will help improve their lives.  She believes in helping product teams solve problems by talking to people and observing how they work.

Elana holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Human Factors and Information Design from Bentley University.
