What were the biggest challenges you faced before CCH® Tagetik? 

Smartphoto is a global e-commerce company and we have different website for different countries. When we first implemented our current system, it was a very good system. But now, it’s outdated and not user-friendly anymore. The reports were not legible by people who didn’t have a license. Uploading data was labor-intensive. We had to do a lot of clicking to run consolidation and convert currencies — with CCH® Tagetik, it’s just one simple click. 

Why did you choose CCH® Tagetik? 

CCH® Tagetik is really focused on finance and reporting. The company keeps stride with evolution of how CEOs and other stakeholders look at figures. That’s a real benefit for us. CCH® Tagetik surprised me because they were so flexible. A lot was possible without the help of external consultants. 

How have you benefitted from CCH® Tagetik? 

The user-friendliness is one of the top benefits of CCH® Tagetik. From a process perspective, as we’re budgeting, we can collaborate with the business owners, and they can read the reports we send them. Then, when we receive their budgets, we can easily upload them to the system. If there’s a budget change, it’s easy to apply. 

From a functionality perspective, I like that we can modify the system ourselves. There is a lot of documentation online, which enables us to understand new features ourselves. The customer service is also very helpful. If you have a question, you don’t necessarily need to go to a consultant or a technical person. We can get the answer from CCH® Tagetik. 

Would you recommend CCH® Tagetik to your peers? 

I would definitely recommend CCH® Tagetik to others looking for a similar solution. I think it’s one of the best currently on the market.
