The Mercy Northwest Sleep Center faced the challenge of educating and preparing patients for sleep studies due to limited staff resources. With just two staff members, patient consultations prior to sleep studies were often under time-constraints, which made it difficult to ensure all information was fully understood. With UpToDate® Patient Engagement (known as Emmi at the time of the study), Mercy Northwest Sleep Center was able to save time for a limited staff while lowering patient no-show rates.
