Dr. Howard Strasberg has dedicated over two decades to providing his expertise in clinical decision support (CDS) to Wolters Kluwer.

Dr. Strasberg currently leads the development of novel CDS applications with the goal of improving quality and safety while reducing unwanted variability in care. As a co-chair of the HL7® CDS work group, he has also helped develop emerging standards in HL7® FHIR® and CDS Hooks.

After completing his MD at Western University and MS in Medical Information Services at Stanford in 2000, Dr. Strasberg soon began working for Wolters Kluwer Health and has remained a trusted voice inside and outside of the company. He regularly provides CDS insights at various symposiums and conferences of the American Medical Informatics Association and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

Additionally, he has contributed to articles in the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association. Dr. Strasberg has also been a fellow of the AMIA since 2019 and a fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics since 2014.
