The official journal of the Federation of European Societies for Tropical Medicine and International Health (FESTMIH) publishes on malaria, HIV, tuberculosis and neglected infectious diseases, water and sanitation, non-communicable diseases, and public health.

Generally, papers relate to low- and middle-income settings and have a broad range of coverage, from genetics to clinical medicine to public health. The journal publishes original papers, reviews, and educational articles.
