Publishes informative and dynamic articles from a variety of disciplines that focus on development during adolescence (ages 10-18) and early emerging adulthood (18-22).

The journal features papers that use mixed-methods, systematically combining qualitative and quantitative data and analyses, as well as rigorous qualitative research using a variety of strategies including ethnography, in-depth interviews, case studies, photo elicitation, and the like. The journal focuses on work that takes a strengths-, or assets-, based approach to adolescent development - with the goal to expand upon the understanding of a diverse range of experiences of adolescents and emerging adults across a variety of contexts.
