The journal, now open for article submissions, is the sixth journal of the renowned Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Inc. portfolio that already includes its chief journal, The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery, as well as JBJS Essential Surgical Techniques, JBJS Case Connecter, JBJS Reviews, and JBJS Journal of Orthopaedics for Physician Assistants.
JBJS Open Access is an international, peer-reviewed, online-only journal that will publish basic-science and clinical findings as well as new research approaches that have the potential of impacting musculoskeletal disease and injury care worldwide. As an open access publication, all articles published in the journal are available for anyone across the world to read free of charge.
