Wolters Kluwer celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month: Siddharth Shenoy

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and the 2022 theme is Advancing Leaders Through Collaboration. Wolters Kluwer spotlighted the careers and stories of several of our Asian and Pacific Islander leaders whose contributions have inspired our growth story and culture of innovation.

Siddharth (Sidd) Shenoy, Vice President, Advanced Technology for Wolters Kluwer’s */DXG, is passionate about technology and access to healthcare worldwide.

According to Sidd, the healthcare industry was under a great deal of stress pre-pandemic and things have only gotten worse. Healthcare costs are rising, life expectancy is dropping and there is an acute shortage of nurses. In his current role, Sidd partners with Wolters Kluwer’s Health business to identify innovative solutions, powered by advanced technologies such as Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, that can address these concerns. He appreciates that Wolters Kluwer gives him the opportunity to have a positive impact on society.

Sidd advises colleagues looking to move up the ranks to network with leaders from across the business and to feel confident asking a senior leader for a 30-minute meeting to learn about their career journey and experiences. “Worst case, they say no. But odds are they’ll be happy to chat.”
For his own role models, Sidd looks up to many other Asian Americans like Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, who is “a phenomenal CEO and an inspirational leader.” From a societal perspective, Sidd admires actor George Takei who is both great at his craft and an inspiring advocate for human rights.
