Making Tax Digital: What is changing?

In the latest instalment of our Making Tax Digital (MTD) video series, our experts, Product Director Wendy Rowe and Senior Product Manager Phil Thornton explain what is changing under MTD for VAT and how to prepare for it.

Making Tax Digital (MTD) will change how practices operate, how they engage with clients and be the catalyst to embrace digitalisation. The fundamental change is that online interface where most accountants have until April 2019 manually entered their nine boxes for VAT return submission, will no longer be available for companies and individuals over the VAT threshold of £85 000.

Over the next few weeks, our expert team at Wolters Kluwer will help you navigate the change to come with Making Tax Digital for VAT through a series of videos. In the next instalment, find out how Wolters Kluwer and CCH OneClick can help you achieve compliance while maintaining many of your VAT processes. Watch this space.
