Stephanie Walter

Since 2016, Stephanie Walter has been Managing Director Germany of Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory, a global leading provider of legal and compliance solutions that enable professionals to improve productivity and performance, mitigate risk and achieve better outcomes.

Stephanie joined Wolters Kluwer in 2017 as Managing Director for Germany at Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory. She is a fully qualified lawyer and has extensive, longtime management experience in the professional information industry, e.g. at Deutscher Anwaltverlag and Deutscher Notarverlag, Publishing Director at Haufe Publishing, and prior to joining Wolters Kluwer as the CEO of Schäffer‑Poeschel Verlag, Haufe Group. She is a member of the board of the German Professional Media Association (Verein Deutsche Fachpresse) and ARSV (Arbeitsgemeinschaft rechts- und staatswissenschaftlicher Verlage e.V.) and member of the International Board of Advisors, TH Köln (University of Applied Sciences).

Throughout her career, she has strategically shaped both the print and digital product portfolios, spearheaded digital transformation initiatives to foster agility and accelerate growth, and developed and implemented customer-centric content and digital strategies that align products with evolving user needs and market trends.

Stephanie studied law at the University of Bonn and then completed her legal training at the Landgericht Bonn (regional court), including in the legal department of Deutsche Telekom AG.
