Description
The official journal of the European Society of Cardiology (with a close alliance with the European Heart Health Institute) publishes original research as well as topical reviews from health scientists around the world, focusing on quality of care as it affects cardiovascular outcomes at hospital, national, and international level.

The journal provides a forum for showcasing the best cardiovascular outcomes research to inform cardiovascular public health policy globally. In addition, it aims to encourage young investigators and support growth of the outcomes research community. Exemplar topics of relevance to the journal include novel treatment strategies and their effects on patient outcomes, electronic health record prognosis research and cost-effectiveness analyses.
