Description
An international, fully open-access journal focusing on the science of guideline development, guideline-related work, and guidelines.

Clinical and Public Health Guidelines features research study types related to guidelines development and implementation methods, including original studies of any design, including primary (i.e., observational, experimental, or qualitative studies) and secondary studies (i.e., all types of evidence synthesis methods, including scoping reviews, systematic reviews-including systematic reviews of guidelines- evidence gap maps, and various types of qualitative synthesis methods) aiming to answer relevant research questions that will contribute to the science of guidelines.

These include, but are not limited to, guidelines priority setting and planning questions, patients or policy-makers involvement in guidelines prioritisation, guidelines development or implementation methods, and meta-research to improve any aspect of guidelines, including research integrity.

The journal also includes clinical, public health or health systems guidelines that meet the Guidelines International Network (GIN) standards for guidelines.
