Wolters Kluwer names Karen Kobelski to Head of Clinical Surveillance, Compliance & Data Solutions

Wolters Kluwer today announced the promotion of Karen Kobelski to Vice President and General Manager for the Health Division’s new Clinical Surveillance, Compliance & Data Solutions business unit.Kobelski is responsible for market-leading solutions that provide clinical surveillance, risk detection and data normalization, which improve the quality of patient care, regulatory compliance and operational performance of organizations in the industry.

Kobelski brings more than 25 years of experience to her new position, which expands her previous leadership role over the Safety & Surveillance group to also include the Health Language portfolio of data normalization solutions. She is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of these businesses, a core component of which is delivering expert solutions into the healthcare market by leveraging the company’s deep clinical domain expertise with leading edge technologies.
