Dr. Matt Crowson turns cutting-edge AI into dependable, bottom-line gains for clinicians and researchers. As Director of AI/Generative AI Product at Wolters Kluwer Health, he leads cross-functional teams that accelerate evidence synthesis, clinical-guideline authoring, and real-world-data analysis.
His prior tenure heading Deloitte’s healthcare provider AI practice saw him design operating models and generative-AI solutions that boosted documentation quality, revenue-cycle performance, and in-silico discovery for large academic health systems. A practicing surgeon at Mass Eye & Ear and assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, he grounds every product decision in frontline realities. Dr Crowson has published 90-plus peer-reviewed papers, cited more than 1,700 times, and serves as a frequent reviewer for leading informatics and ENT journals, shaping the national dialogue on responsible clinical AI.
Dr. Crowson earned his medical degree from Dartmouth College and completed his residency training at Duke University. He subsequently completed his neurotology fellowship at the University of Toronto. He has completed Master's degrees in Engineering, Public Administration, and Biomedical Informatics.
