Mondadori Education and Wolters Kluwer launch an advanced professional development program for upper secondary school teachers in Italy: 16 webinars focused on economic, legal and social transformations and their impact on education.
Milan, October 21, 2026 - How can we help younger generations understand a world shaped by profound economic, legal and technological transformations and prepare them to face the challenges of the future?
This question is at the heart of “Understanding Change, Shaping the Future”, the advanced professional development initiative launched today by Mondadori Education in collaboration with Wolters Kluwer. Designed for teachers of economics and law in upper secondary schools, the program offers a new framework for navigating an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving global landscape, fostering an integrated perspective for understanding the major transformations currently reshaping society.
With an interdisciplinary approach that brings together economics, law, technology and society, the program consists of two learning pathways, each comprising eight webinars, for a total of 16 sessions featuring experts from academia and professional practice. The objective is to equip teachers with the tools needed to critically interpret the phenomena transforming contemporary society and translate this knowledge into meaningful educational content that supports curriculum planning and the development of students’ citizenship skills.
The two pathways address highly relevant and interconnected topics. The economics track focuses on macroeconomics, geoeconomics, artificial intelligence, sustainability, markets, taxation and financial literacy. The law track explores Europe and constitutional principles, artificial intelligence, data protection, digital platforms, citizenship, and the teaching of law and civic education.
The program bridges subject-matter expertise and classroom application. Economics and law are presented as complementary lenses through which to understand the complexity of today’s world and help students grasp the transformations affecting individuals, businesses and institutions. The value of the initiative also lies in its ability to provide teachers with current, relevant topics and practical tools to enrich classroom learning and address the challenges of the future.
This collaboration combines the expertise of Mondadori Education, the Mondadori Group publishing house dedicated to education through the publication of textbooks, digital content and teaching resources, with the educational expertise of Wolters Kluwer, a leading provider of professional information, software and services for professionals in the healthcare, tax and accounting, financial and corporate compliance, legal and regulatory, corporate performance, and ESG sectors.
The full schedule and detailed information about each webinar are available on the dedicated economics and law program pages on the Mondadori Education website.
