Before joining Wolters Kluwer in 2022, Marcelo held leadership roles at Heineken International, where he managed the premium beer portfolio and spearheaded award-winning campaigns for the company’s fastest-growing brands, contributing to record market share gains. Earlier in his career, Marcelo held roles at Philips, The Boston Consulting Group, and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, leading branding and marketing initiatives that spanned multiple industries and regions. His work has consistently focused on brand strategy, innovation, and positioning — helping businesses translate purpose into powerful commercial results.
A truly global professional, Marcelo has lived and worked in Brazil, China, Argentina, Spain, and now the Netherlands. Fluent in seven languages, he brings a deep understanding of cultural insights and consumer behavior to his work. Marcelo holds an MBA from the Coppead Graduate School of Business in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
