She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Residency program at the University of Kansas Hospital (now part of the University of Kansas Health System). Christina received a Master of Science in Pharmacy Practice Management from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy.
Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, Christina’s professional experience primarily involved supervising and managing sterile compounding spaces. Her first post-residency position was as a sterile products manager in a community health system before transitioning to an ambulatory infusion supervisor over both oncology and non-oncology pharmacy infusion centers.
Most recently, she served as the Section Chief for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center Intravenous Admixture Unit where she ensured compliance with regulations, standards, and procedures. In this role, she also provided leadership on efforts related to facilities, automation and technology, training, staff well-being, and patient care in planning for the go-live of a 5,500-square-foot new sterile compounding facility.
Christina also served as a Membership Director for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and led the development and implementation of strategies and programs related to new practitioner members for five years.
Outside of Pharmacy, Christina is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with over 1,000 hours of training in yoga and Pilates. She infuses anatomy-based, sustainable movements into her classes.
