The IRS has clarified pressing questions, originating from the SECURE Act and SECURE 2.0 Act about required minimum distributions (“RMDs”) from individual retirement accounts (“IRAs”). The new RMD provisions will have a financial impact for owners, participants, and beneficiaries of retirement plans and IRAs when the rule changes come into effect. While the RMD rules mandate annual withdrawals after an individual either reaches a certain age or upon death for eligible tax-deferred retirement plans, the time at which such distributions must begin and the extended period over which an individual must empty their retirement savings have significantly changed.

Join us for this informative session as speakers Mina Capouet, (MHA, RHIA) and Anand Daga share key legislative insights and demonstrate how AI could help in researching this topic specifically and any legal issue in general. Additionally, Mina will explore the FFY2024 IPPS coding updates and discuss their impact on Medicare Severity Diagnosis Related Groups (MSDRGs), a system essential to managing healthcare reimbursements.

This webinar will cover:

  • Comprehensive insights into the IPPS update
  • Explore the MSDRG shifts
  • Discuss the future of clinical coding
  • How to use AI to enhance legal research
