About

Michele is a lawyer, educator and writer.  Michele is the Principal Lawyer and Director of Michele Davis Estate Law and educates other lawyers as an Adjunct Lecturer and Practice Area Leader for Wills & Estates and Estate Planning postgraduate programs at the College of Law. Michele is a self-confessed succession nerd and prides herself in practising law with clarity and kindness. Michele also has a Masters of Laws (Applied Law), majoring in Wills & Estates and is undertaking her PhD in law at QUT, focusing her research on elder abuse in succession law.

Michele has devoted her career to the speciality of succession and elder law almost exclusively since admission and she has a special interest in complex estate planning and aged care/retirement planning. Michele has experience across multiple jurisdictions, including Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. Michele has become known by her peers for her blog on all things succession and elder law at www.micheledavis.com.au and for founding the very successful Australian Succession & Elder Lawyers LinkedIn Group and the Logan & Scenic Rim Law Association Inc for her local legal community.

She updates the case examples in the Estate Planning and Trust practice area.
