Description
MIDIRS assists the maternity health care professional through articles and updates on current midwifery, medical and social research.
MIDIRS Midwifery Digest includes original research papers and provides summaries of published works and news items, extracting relevant papers from a number of different disciplines related to midwifery practice and maternity care. This demonstrates recognition of real multi-professional partnerships and reflects the academic and clinical environment.
From March 2020, MIDIRS Midwifery Digest will incorporate the Royal College of Midwives’ peer reviewed journal, Evidence Based Midwifery (EBM). Part of the RCM portfolio since 2003, the purpose of EBM is to help develop a strong professional and scholarly basis for academically orientated midwives.
The combination of MIDIRS Midwifery Digest and EBM further enhances the MIDIRS portfolio offering access to a robust range of high-quality papers supporting maternity health professionals in developing skills and competence to effectively disseminate their research findings.
