Annual Real World Testing Mandated for Health IT
As defined by ONC, Real World Testing is an annual requirement outlined in the 21st Century Cures Act Final Rule for all participating health IT developers to demonstrate interoperability and functionality of their Certified Health IT in real-world settings. Real World Testing is demonstrated through annual Real World Testing plans outlining how the certified developer will be demonstrating the successful interoperability for each pertinent certified capability and the corresponding Real World Testing results.
