Wolters Kluwer, a leading global provider of information and point of care solutions for the health care industry, is pleased to announce that it will begin publishing JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Reports, official journal of The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), a leading international producer of evidence-based practice resources and tools.
Wolters Kluwer to publish JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Reports
"Providing cost-effective, quality care that is based on the best available evidence, is the mission of every health care professional and institution around the world,” said Jayne Marks, Vice President, Global Publishing for Wolters Kluwer, Health Learning, Research & Practice. “The addition of the JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Reports gives health care professionals an additional resource to inform their practice and improve patient outcomes."
The JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Reports publishes multidisciplinary systematic reviews, protocols and implementation reports, which are based on the JBI methodology for evidence translation and implementation into practice. Journal content is often used to inform policy, guidelines, procedures, and tools for clinical decision making at point-of-care.
“This is an important and exciting initiative for the JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Reports,” said Dr. Edoardo Aromataris, Editor-in-Chief and Associate Professor, Director, Synthesis Science. “Partnering with Wolters Kluwer, a respected international publishing house, heralds a brand new look for the online journal and will increase the dissemination and reach of the important work of contributing authors aimed at maximising the use of best available evidence to inform health practice.”
A streamlined electronic manuscript submission, review, and tracking process is accessible to authors and reviewers at Editorial Manager.
This is the second JBI journal published by Wolters Kluwer, who is also the exclusive institutional distribution channel via Ovid for JBI’s complete EBP solution.
