Wolters Kluwer’s ELM Solutions drives increased collaboration and efficiencies with Passport 18.1

Provides corporate legal departments and law firms with greater visibility into budgeting and data privacy and security requirements.

Wolters Kluwer’s ELM Solutions today announced the release of Passport® 18.1 with enhanced collaboration, usability, security, and performance features for corporate legal departments and law firms, providing new capabilities that enable legal teams to drive better business outcomes and operational efficiencies while staying current with software updates.

The enhancements made to Passport’s Collaboration Module provide law firms with the opportunity to proactively request budgets from corporate legal departments to streamline the budgeting process, which allows for improved financial management. Usability enhancements include powerful new search functionality and a new Passport Mobile experience which provides a mobile-optimized and responsive user interface for Android and IOS phones and mobile tablets. This allows users to instantly access, view, and manage matters and invoices anytime, which helps drive ease of use and time savings for corporate legal departments.

Passport 18.1 also includes new capabilities for adhering to data privacy and security regulations for clients and law firms and provides improved system performance.

Included in the Passport 18.1 release is the Passport Evergreen Program, which provides subscription customers the services and support required to update Passport every 12 months at no charge. This allows clients to take advantage of new Passport functionality and capabilities so they can experience the full value of their technology investment.

“With legal departments driving toward strengthened collaboration with law firms, we are continually working with them to identify ways we can help improve those relationships,” said Barry Ader, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Wolters Kluwer’s ELM Solutions. “Passport 18.1 reaffirms our continued commitment to providing a better overall user experience. Streamlining and bringing greater visibility to the budgeting process is a critical component to solid financial management with outside counsel.”
