The International Federation of Fertility Societies selects Wolters Kluwer to publish open access title, Global Reproductive Health

Wolters Kluwer, a leading global provider of information and point of care solutions for the healthcare industry, is pleased to announce it has been selected by the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) to publish their official journal, Global Reproductive Health.

The journal aims to further knowledge, foster innovation, support research and promote good clinical practice in the field of reproductive medicine within a global setting. “We are truly excited to publish a journal dedicated to reproductive issues aimed at all levels of sophistication,” said Dr. Alan DeCherney, Editor-in-Chief of Global Reproductive Health.

With the launch of Global Reproductive Health, is the publication of its first special issue, IFFS Surveillance 2016, created in partnership with the World Health Organization. “IFFS Surveillance 2016 serves as a record and an overview of the practice, policies and activities associated with assisted reproductive technology (ART) as it existed globally, at the end of 2015,” wrote Dr. Steven J. Ory, Editor-in-Chief of IFFS Surveillance 2016. 

Founded in 1968, the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) includes over 65 national societies from every continent and is committed to advancing scientific knowledge and clinical application in reproductive sciences.  The journal strives to add to the society mission of advancing knowledge for all.     

Global Reproductive Health will publish original contributions from healthcare professionals and researchers in the areas of fertility control, periconceptual health, sexual health, reproductive genetics, early pregnancy loss, gynaecological practice related to reproductive health, reproductive surgery, imaging, epidemiology of reproduction, service delivery, science and practice of assisted reproduction, quality and safety systems and health economics relevant to this area.

As an open access journal, all published research articles are freely available to be read online.  All articles undergo rigorous peer-review based on initial editor screening and anonymous reviewing by independent reviewers.
