Tom Hurst serves as Head of Sales for Wolters Kluwer eOriginal. In this role, he is responsible for partnering with and delivering eOriginal’s industry-leading digital lending suite to top national lenders across mortgage, automotive finance, equipment lease finance, consumer finance, solar finance, and student lending. Hurst’s 20-year experience in the mortgage industry and his authentic leadership style, spanning services, solutions and technology, provides industry experience and success in facilitating digital transformation to banks and mortgage lenders.
Prior to joining eOriginal/Wolters Kluwer, he served as the CEO of SettlementOne, a tech-enabled Mortgage Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) and national appraisal management company. During his tenure, SettlementOne experienced exponential growth and became a Top 10 CRA to national banks and mortgage lenders. Previous to SettlementOne, Hurst was co-founder and president of StreetLinks Lender Solutions – the largest independent appraisal management company and mortgage technology provider in the U.S. He was instrumental in the rapid ascension of StreetLinks to an industry-leading position. Under his leadership, StreetLinks partnered with 70 of the nation’s Top 100 lenders, as well as launched StreetLinksQX automated review technology and LenderX, a SaaS-based appraisal workflow platform. Hurst successfully led the sale of StreetLinks to Assurant, LLC in 2014.
Hurst holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Indiana State University, including a degree in Business Aerospace Administration. He’s also a certified flight instructor.
