Dr. Bond is Head of Clinical AI for UpToDate and Clinical Decision-Support Provider Solutions at Wolters Kluwer Health, leading the clinical vision, strategy, standards, and execution for AI integration in the United States and internationally. She also represents the organization’s clinical perspective on the responsible use of AI in healthcare. Her work focuses on translating clinical expertise into trusted AI intelligence that strengthens decision-making and supports clinicians and healthcare systems in complex, safety-critical environments.

Her career centers on improving clinical decisions and patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine and technology. She sees AI’s transformative potential to reveal patterns across populations, deepen the therapeutic alliance between patients and providers, and help patients better understand their own illness. She brings a pragmatic, clinically grounded perspective to realizing that potential: where AI can deliver meaningful value, how its performance should be evaluated, and where caution and human judgment remain essential. Her priorities include advancing creativity in how AI can serve patients and clinicians, alongside the transparency, governance, and clinical rigor needed to earn trust in AI-enabled care.

Dr. Bond holds a faculty appointment at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where she continues to practice, teach, and conduct research. This ongoing clinical work keeps her approach to AI grounded in the demands of patient care and the human experience of illness. She earned her BA from Columbia University and her MD from Northwestern University.
