Dr. Raffaella Gozzelino is the founder of Diáspora Mund and a group leader at NOVA Medical School Research at NOVA University of Lisbon, Portugal. She is also a board member of the International Society for the Study of Iron in Medicine and Biology (BioIron) and co-chair of DOTCAN, which focuses on developing ocean technical capacity with African nations. Additionally, she serves on international committees for research project funding and is an editor for several international peer-reviewed scientific journals.
