Our commitment to accessible digital experiences
Our goal is to design and improve experiences so they are usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We broadly align our digital experiences to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and continue to strengthen accessibility across design, development, testing, and content creation. Accessibility is not a one-time effort for us; it is an ongoing part of how we build and improve our products.
Our approach
We embed accessibility into the product development lifecycle. This includes:
- Inclusive design practices that consider diverse learner needs
- Automated and manual accessibility testing during development
- Testing with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation
- Ongoing improvements based on audits, user feedback, and institutional priorities
We recognize that accessibility requires collaboration across many disciplines, including UX, software engineering, quality engineering, content, and product management. This cross-functional approach helps us address accessibility more effectively and support long-term improvement.
Accessibility conformance information
For digital products, Health, Learning and Practice makes Accessibility Conformance Reports — including VPAT-based documentation — available to help customers understand current accessibility support and ongoing remediation work. Where applicable, updated VPATs are posted to the relevant accessibility page or can be provided upon request. Because our products continue to evolve, accessibility documentation reflects the state of the product at the time of evaluation. We continue to review findings, prioritize remediation, and improve accessibility over time.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continue to identify, prioritize, and remediate issues through regular reviews, collaboration with internal teams, and third-party assessments where appropriate. Our focus is on making steady, meaningful progress and improving access for all users.
