Wolters Kluwer, Health announced today that John Langton, Ph.D., Director of Applied Data Science, and Sarah Bryan, Director of Product Management at Health Language, Clinical Surveillance, Compliance & Data Solutions, will present “Leveraging AI to Improve the Quality of Data in Healthcare” at the AMIA 2019 Annual Symposium (#AMIA2019) in Washington, D.C. Their presentation takes place at 10:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, November 19 in Columbia Hall of the Washington Hilton.
Bryan and Langton will explore the downstream impact of poor data quality and provide three steps healthcare organization should take to create a foundation of accurate and reliable and data. They will also discuss the potential of AI-powered solutions, such as clinical natural language processing (cNLP) and machine learning, as well as present common cases for applying AI to ensure accurate documentation for risk adjustment, identify gaps in care for quality measure reporting and generate predictive analytics.
