Last week, the first edition of the Barrier Based Risk Management Summit in India took place. Local Indian partner Sudaksha took the initiative to organize this event which turned out to be a success.
The event was set up as a 2-day conference. On day 1, various speakers from different industries shared their knowledge about barrier based risk management, such as Jet Airways and Tata Steel. On day 2, visitors participated in interactive workshops to create bowties together.
It has been a pleasure to see the interaction between various industry-leading organizations, and their enthusiasm to share their knowledge and to take theory into practice.
We are delighted that a local partner took the initiative to organize this event and has plans to develop this in the future. We believe this event serves as a good foundation to further establish barrier based risk management thinking in the region.
