Shane Hartzler brings over 20 years of expertise in digital lending, with a strong focus on product innovation, business transformation, and customer engagement. He currently leads the Digital Lending business unit at Wolters Kluwer, where he drives a high-growth strategy for a diverse product portfolio designed to create, manage, and monetize electronic assets across all lending business lines and asset classes. In this role, he is responsible for accelerating the success of existing products while charting new paths for expansion and innovation through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and organic growth.
Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer, Shane served as Chief Product Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Stavvy, a financial technology startup. There, he shaped the company’s vision for delivering digital execution capabilities that transformed fragmented workflows into trusted, seamless customer experiences.
Earlier in his career, Shane held several customer-facing leadership roles at Fannie Mae. As Director of eMortgage Strategy and Operations, he spearheaded strategy execution for digital closing and delivery solutions, playing a pivotal role in Fannie Mae’s digital mortgage transformation. During his time at Fannie Mae, he partnered with top banks, servicers, and mortgage institutions nationwide to eliminate process inefficiencies, benchmark costs, and develop strategies for sustainable business improvements.
Shane earned his MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Strategy from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and holds a BA in Business Communication from Goshen College.
