Joanne has a J.D. degree from Rutgers School of Law-Newark and is admitted to practice in New Jersey. She was graduated magna cum Laude with a degree in Communication from Seton Hall University and earned a master of library science degree from Southern Connecticut State University. She is a member of Beta Phi Mu, the International Library and Information Services Honor Society.
