BowTieXP Suite Train-the-Trainer Program for VAR Partners

Track 1: Bowtie Risk Analysis (to be planned for September 2026)

Time investment = 3 days

Equip partners with the knowledge and tools to independently implement BowTieXP Enterprise projects and train others effectively. By completing this track, participants will be fully equipped to support the design, configuration of BowTieXP Enterprise solutions, enabling them to lead implementations and support organizational risk management initiatives. By completing this module, participants will be able to support organizational risk management at an advanced level, ensuring both technical accuracy and governance.

Track 2: Audits and Incidents on Bowties

(Track 1 (Level 1 + Level 2) completion is necessary to sign up for this track)

Time investment = 3.5 days

Participants will learn how to manage audits and incidents within the Enterprise environment from an end-user perspective, with the goal of strengthening compliance and operational safety.

The training covers the audit workflow, including how to assign and complete a survey, register a deviation, and ensure proper documentation. In addition, participants will learn how to record, track, and analyze observations and incidents, ensuring accurate reporting and effective follow-up actions.

Finally, learners will gain skills in integrating IncidentXP with BowTieXP, creating a seamless workflow that connects risk analysis with barrier-centric audits and incident management.

Participants will first complete the BowTie Method e-learning and BowTieXP Enterprise Core e-learning to build a strong foundation.

After this, they will learn how to apply BowTie analysis within the Enterprise environment for effective risk communication and sharing. They will also gain practical skills in creating and editing simple BowTie diagrams directly in the Enterprise tool.

Time investment: 0.5 day

Participants will begin by completing the Incident Method e-learning and Audits e-learning, followed by Enterprise user training.

They will learn how to:

• Navigate and follow the audits workflow within Enterprise.
• Manage observations and incidents workflows, including recording, tracking, and analyzing events.
• Perform follow-up actions on incidents directly in Enterprise to ensure proper resolution and documentation.

Time investment: 1 day

This level equips participants with advanced skills to manage and configure BowTieXP Enterprise effectively.

It covers two key areas:

• Super User Capabilities: Learn how to create, maintain, and govern BowTie diagrams. Gain expertise in building BowTies, managing metadata and libraries, and configuring the corporate template to support end users.
• Admin Essentials: Develop proficiency in user management, setting access rights, system configuration, and integrating BowTieXP Enterprise with other systems to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Time investment = 2.5 days

This advanced level equips learners with the skills to configure and govern audits and incident management processes.

They will learn how to:

• Configure workflows for audits and incidents to align with organizational requirements.
• Manage metadata, libraries, and templates for audits and observations.
• Administer permissions, user access, and system settings to ensure secure and efficient operations.
• Integrate Enterprise with other systems for seamless data exchange and reporting.

By completing this track, participants will be able to implement and maintain robust audit and incident management processes within BowTieXP Enterprise.
