Recorded February 27, 2024 | 1 hour

The acceleration of advanced technologies has led to opportunities and concerns about assuring student knowledge and competency development of evidence synthesis and translation curricula. In addition, as students prepare for practice, knowledge of competencies needs to translate to practical skills. During the webinar, the panel provided examples of how Ovid® Synthesis, a new innovative solution, can be used to provide the oversight and guidance for AACN Domain 4 to support a learning environment that promotes independent critical thinking and academic integrity as well as to support collaboration and communication.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the potential opportunities and risks of new technologies within healthcare.
  • Describe issues facing faculty and nursing students in developing research, EBP, and QI projects.
  • Discuss how Ovid Synthesis can be used to provide the oversight and guidance for AACN Domain 4 and support a learning environment that promotes independent critical thinking and academic integrity.
