Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Asia Pacific today announced the integration of the ISO 27001 international standard on managing information security with its award-winning CCH Integrator and CCH iFirm software solutions for corporations and accounting firms, respectively.
ISO 27001 is the certification for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an organisation’s security profile. The ISO 27001 process highlights that Wolters Kluwer meets ISO 27001’s security benchmarks for the full design, development, implementation, and support life cycle for CCH Integrator globally and for CCH iFirm Tax solution in Australia.
Achieving ISO 27001 certification supports the CCH Integrator global tax platform in meeting certain international data security compliance requirements. ISO 27001 also ensures the tax return preparation and filing component of its CCH iFirm cloud accounting software remains productive, secure, and connected when transacting within the Australian Taxation Office’s Digital Service Provider Operational Framework digital ecosystem.
CCH Integrator and CCH iFirm Tax customers and partners will gain greater reassurance with their workflows and security controls no matter their firm size. With the ISO 27001 certification independently assessed and benchmarked, clients and partners will have greater confidence and reassurance in digital solutions' integrity – from development to delivery in the cloud.
“ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised benchmark for security compliance. This third-party accreditation for ISO 27001 benchmarks our deep commitment to continuous improvement for security,” said Izzy Silva, Managing Director of Tax and Accounting Asia Pacific, Wolters Kluwer. "Securing data throughout the digital life cycle is critical, particularly when you look at the calibre of customers we serve. It underpins our corporate credentials for existing customers and allows potential customers to understand our leadership in the areas of tax content and solutions, and the cloud journey.”
The ISO 27001 accreditation means Wolters Kluwer has developed an agile security framework protecting its current development teams, customers and their clients, and data storage service with industry-recognised standards.
