Zaida leads the Compliance Management practice, bringing more than 30 years of financial services experience supporting regulated financial institutions operating within complex, multi party ecosystems. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she offers deep expertise across internal audit, regulatory compliance, banking operations, third party risk management, credit cards, consumer lending, and portfolio risk management—capabilities that are critical to effective bank–fintech relationships and credit union operating models.

Throughout her career, Zaida has held senior leadership roles with enterprise wide responsibility, including Chief Auditor; Regional Director of Products overseeing operations across 21 countries; Vice President of Bank Operations in Puerto Rico; and executive leader accountable for credit cards, retail products, sales, and consumer lending. In these roles, she governed highly regulated environments involving external vendors, product partners, and distributed delivery models, aligning regulatory expectations, risk management practices, and business objectives across banks and fintech companies. As Vice President and Credit Director of a consumer lending operation, Zaida led the establishment of high performance credit acquisition functions and oversaw the development and implementation of credit scoring models supporting retail product portfolios. Her experience integrating compliance oversight, operational execution, and risk governance enables her to guide banks, fintech sponsors, and credit unions in designing, assessing, and strengthening CMS frameworks that support scalable, compliant partnership structures.

Zaida holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Industrial Management from Inter American University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA), and Anti Money Laundering Certified Associate (AMLCA).
