Born from our work with lenders like you
Our experience shows that lenders seek an evergreen, reliable, and complete view of their lien portfolio. Seeing all filings, no matter where filed, in one place is critical for complete confidence in their secured lending. Some lenders may be aware of situations that might result in gaps in their lien portfolio, but most do not understand the extent of the risk.

Should I file a UCC-3?UCC-3s are documents that track changes to your existing UCC filings, and there are five different types you can file through iLien: Continuations, Amendments, Assignments, Subordinations, and Terminations. Most liens expire in five years but if the debt is still outstanding, if financial interests are transferred, or if the debtor, secured party, or collateral change, some form of a UCC-3 needs to be considered.
What are public records?Public records are documents made available by the government to the public and are available via a county clerk, recorder, or assessor. Since UCC filings or liens are filed on public records, they are available online. Portfolio Sync constantly searches the public records to find your filings and updates the information in your portfolio to keep it up-to-date.
