If you are searching for NRAI's address to serve process, please note that a registered agent’s sole responsibility is to receive and forward service of process or other legal documents to the company for which it was appointed as registered agent. That company is our customer.
If you are looking to serve an NRAI customer, the documents you are looking to serve (for example, a summons and complaint, garnishment order, or subpoena) should name our customer as the defendant, garnishee, subpoena respondent, etc., and not NRAI. The document should also be addressed to the customer care/of (c/o) NRAI at our service of process location. It should not be addressed directly to NRAI.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARTIES SERVING A SUBPOENA – NRAI is not a custodian of records for the entities for which we provide the registered agent. Our only role would be to receive the subpoena and forward it to our customer if we are its registered agent. Therefore, your subpoena should not command NRAI to provide the records for an entity for which we are the registered agent. Your subpoena must command the entity that is our customer and not NRAI to provide the records in response to your subpoena. The subpoena should also be addressed to the entity whose records you are requesting, care of (c/o) NRAI.
